I am co-hunting the Claude Code desktop redesign as of late with my PH good friend @fmerian, and it is one I have been looking at carefully.

The issue: Agentic coding does not seem like “one suggested, one resolution” anymore. Builders are operating refactors, worm fixes, and check passes throughout more than one repos concurrently. The outdated desktop app wasn’t constructed for that. Managing parallel periods supposed juggling terminals, editors, and context one at a time.

The answer: Anthropic rebuilt the Claude Code desktop app from the bottom up for parallel agent workflows.

Here is what’s new:

  • Consultation sidebar — View & clear out all periods; auto-archive on PR shut

  • Facet chat (⌘ + 😉 — Ask questions with out disrupting major float

  • Terminal + editor — Evaluate, edit, and send in a single position

  • Drag & drop format — Customise your workspace grid

  • 3 view modes — Verbose, Customary, or Abstract

Particularly helpful for engineers already operating Claude Code at quantity who’re hitting the ceiling of managing more than one periods manually.

Replace your app or obtain. It calls for a Professional, Max, Workforce, or Undertaking plan.

P.S. I hunt the most recent and biggest launches in tech, SaaS and AI, apply to be notified @rohanrecommends @fmerian
